Pascal Jolivet receives top Decanter scores

We are delighted to inform you that two of our Pascal Jolivet wines, the Sancerre Blanc and Rosé, featured in the Top 10 lists in Decanter’s September Issue.

Sancerre Blanc 2015 received a fantastic score of 94 points in the Sancerre 2015 Panel Tasting and ranked second score-wise, while being Highly recommended out of a total of 83 wines.

“The palate starts with a gentle polish leading onto a very succulent, pure, vibrant character. Wonderfully poised with depth of stone fruit flavour. May develop further as it’s still tight on the finish, but it is certainly ready to drink now.

Sancerre Rose 2015 was submitted for the Top 50 Rosé Feature tasting, which included a record number of 322 rosés from around the world. The Pascal Jolivet Rosé was Highly Recommended, ranking at the top of the list with the highest score achieved by any wine, 93 points.

“Some peach and ripe red berry fruit here, but it seems a more serious, less fruit-driven style than some, with a distinctive mineral character. The apetising, fresh, leafy acidity adds to the elegance and delicacy, finishing very clean and fresh.
