Richard Billett

Richard, who has spent his whole professional career in the drinks industry, developed an interest in wine during time spent living and working in France either side of university. He joined Maisons Marques et Domaines in 2012 as Sales & Marketing Director and draws on a wealth of experience in champagne, premium wine and spirits, gained over the last two decades in a number of head office, senior sales and management positions at Moet Hennessy UK and Mentzendorff. Appointed Managing Director in April 2015, Richard leads the 22 strong team at MMD, oversees the strategic development of the MMD portfolio and manages key brand partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, following sport and keeping fit in the gym.
