Delas Freres
Delas Frères is a historic Rhône Valley wine house, founded in 1835 and known for, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Syrah and Grenache from the Northern and Southern Rhône. Based in Tain-l’Hermitage and part of the Roederer Collection, Delas produces wines from leading appellations including Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. It shows ruby red in colour with bright tinges. The nose is complex, moving from very ripe fruit to black cherry and stone fruit, lifted by a touch of liquorice. The palate is full-bodied and well built, with ripe southern Rh?ne fruit, balanced power and a structured yet approachable texture. The finish is long and persistent, showing the wine?s depth and capacity for further bottle development.
