Drinks International has named Louis Roederer as the World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand in 2020, a magazine which ranks champagne brands from 1-30 based on the votes of the world’s top wine experts. This is the seventh edition of the supplement, which is produced in collaboration with champagne expert Giles Fallowfield.

Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards 2020
Champagne Louis Roederer are delighted to announce that the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Competition will be open for entries from Wednesday 12th February.
After a fantastic 16 years championing excellence in wine writing and artistry around the world, this will be the final year of ‘The Roederers’. In line with its core philosophy of sustainability and addressing climate change, the Maison has decided to explore opportunities of supporting and sponsoring these vital movements.
The final Roederer Awards will once again be held at the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts on London’s Piccadilly on 9th September.
The Judges
The Roederer Awards are proud to attract the finest wine communicators – not only in terms of entrants, but also as judges. This year’s panel is no exception with a fantastic team chaired by Charles Metcalfe.

Harvest Report 2019 – Ramos Pinto
Precipitation was significanlty lower in 2019 than the previous year. Throughout the growing cycle, the level of rainfall fell to one-third of previously recorded figures, dropping to 35% at Quinta dos Bons Ares.
