Merry Edwards
Merry Edwards is a Russian River Valley producer in Sonoma County, California, known for Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from some of the region’s most distinctive vineyard sites. Founded in 1997 by pioneering winemaker Merry Edwards, the estate is now part of the Roederer Collection and continues under Winemaker Heidi von der Mehden and President Nicole Carter. Merry Edwards offers a premium Sonoma wine proposition, combining single-vineyard Pinot Noir, barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, Certified California Sustainable farming and a house style defined by colour, texture and aromatic intensity.
Read MoreTasting Note
The nose is floral and fruit-led, with dried rose petals, sandalwood, black tea, savoury spice and a dusting of cocoa. The palate is layered with forest floor, dark berries and plum, carried by bright acidity and silky, tightly knit tannins. Medium to full in body, it combines coastal freshness with polished texture and earthy complexity. The finish is long, refreshing and finely structured.
Food Pairing
Pair with premium charcuterie, artisan cured meats, p?t?, roasted garlic, olives, pickled vegetables, baked Camembert, mushroom p?t?, roast duck or cheeses with fresh baguette and dried fruit.
