Masseria Surani
Masseria Surani is a Puglia wine project created by the Tommasi family in 2014, centred on the native grape varieties and terroirs of Salento. Based around Manduria, Lizzano and Guagnano, the estate produces Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano and Negroamaro rosé with a contemporary, balanced approach. Their range offers a clear and versatile route into modern Puglian wine.

The wine is made from free-run juice, fermented in stainless steel vats at low temperature, not exceeding 12?C, for 15 days. This cool fermentation preserves Fiano?s floral, citrus and tropical-fruit aromatics while retaining freshness and precision. The wine then undergoes around four months of bottle ageing before release, supporting integration and aromatic persistence without adding oak influence.
Tasting Note
Bright straw yellow in colour. The nose is fragrant and fresh, with delicate aromas of white flowers and acacia, followed by citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is pleasantly savoury and medium-bodied, with clear fruit, lively freshness and a balanced texture. Aromatic but precise, it combines floral lift with a mineral, food-friendly profile. The finish is fresh, clean and persistent.
Food Pairing
Pair with rich fish dishes, grilled seafood, white meats, poultry, salads, fresh cheeses, lemon-led pasta, grilled courgettes or Mediterranean vegetable dishes.
