Deutz Brut Rose multi-vintage Champagne based on the 2022 vintage and made entirely from Premier and Grand Cru fruit. The Pinot Noir gives structure, red-fruit definition and the delicate rose hue, while Chardonnay from the Cote des Blancs adds finesse, brightness and freshness.
Vinification
Deutz Brut Rose is shaped by careful handling of Pinot Noir, with cold maceration, gentle extraction and a focus on preserving fruit purity. Malolactic fermentation is completed, contributing roundness and balance. The wine is aged for three years in cellar, allowing the mousse, fruit and structure to integrate. A dosage of 6.5g/l supports the wine?s bright, crisp and subtle rose character.
Tasting Note
Luminous pale pink in colour, immediately suggesting delicacy. The nose opens with crunchy red berries, including blackcurrant jelly, garden strawberry and fresh blueberry, followed by yellow apple, rhubarb and violet. The palate is tangy and mouthwatering, led by redcurrant freshness and supported by a fine mineral line. A hint of black pepper adds definition on the finish, giving a crisp, pure and subtly intense rose Champagne.
Food Pairing
Serve as an aperitif or pair with salmon and mushrooms, beef carpaccio, duck with cranberries, rack of lamb, Chaource, Brillat-Savarin or delicate starters.
