Following a gruelling two-day blind tasting of over 700 Spanish wines by a dream team of palates headed up by Tim Atkin MW, the results are were announced last week.

Capellania 2009: their white reserva won “Best Rioja”; Dalmau 2009: their Cabernet-blended reserva and Pazo Barrantes, the family’s Galician Albariño also both charted in the Top 100 within one of the toughest blind tasting competitions for Spanish wines in the UK trade.
