Masseria Surani
Masseria Surani is a Puglia wine project created by the Tommasi family in 2014, centred on the native grape varieties and terroirs of Salento. Based around Manduria, Lizzano and Guagnano, the estate produces Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano and Negroamaro rosé with a contemporary, balanced approach. Their range offers a clear and versatile route into modern Puglian wine.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature for 12 to 15 days, with frequent pumping over of the must to support extraction, colour and structure. The wine then matures for six months in oak casks, adding texture and gentle complexity while preserving the freshness and fruit character of the blend.
Tasting Note
Bright ruby red in colour. The nose is intensely fruity, with cherry, blackberry and plum, followed by a lightly spicy note. The palate is enveloping and full-flavoured, with ripe fruit, smooth texture and a pleasant lightness that keeps the wine fresh and approachable. Medium-bodied and versatile, it balances fruit generosity with savoury detail. The finish is fresh, gently spiced and persistent.
Food Pairing
Pair with pizza, first courses with white meat or vegetables, fresh cheeses, tomato pasta, roast chicken, grilled vegetables, charcuterie or casual Italian sharing dishes.
